A book cover design for ‘Metamorphosis’ by Franz Kafka, inspired by the character Grete Samsa. This brief - which limited me to only photography or collage for image-making - was set the day before the 2020 November lockdown. I was stuck at home, with the majority of my things still in my university bedroom (I was only meant to be visiting for the weekend), and ended up producing self-portraits with an old bedsheet, some plastic bugs, and eyelash glue. It stays in my portfolio because I shocked myself with my tenacity.
